Know Before You Go

In just one week, the Gathering will arrive in Atlanta for the first time! MagicCon: Atlanta will be packed with play events, panels, special guests, and more. Below you’ll find all the tips and information needed to easily navigate the show and get the most out of your weekend. 

Updates to the MagicCon Show Floor

Some of your favorite show features are in different locations throughout the convention center. The show maps will help you navigate your way to the Official Show Store, The Mana Stage, The Lost Tavern and beyond. Daily entry and queuing procedures have been updated for Atlanta and include a separate morning queue for the Official Show Store and for entry to the Show Floor and Badge pick up. 

Daily Entry & Queue

MagicCon opens daily at 10:00 AM, but you may begin queuing at 8:30 AM. Attendees will not be allowed entry prior to 8:30 AM.  

If you have a Black Lotus Badge, please see your special entry schedule here.

MagicCon is located on Level 1 of Building C. The Official Show Store is located in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom, Level 5 of Building B.  

To help you get to where you want to go first thing in the morning, follow these directions for your specific queue needs 

For those who need to pick up their physical MagicCon badge: 

Please visit Registration/Will Call on Level 1, Hall C Lobby. You will not be able to queue for the show floor or the official show store with a digital QR code. You must have your physical badge. Badge pick-up opens at 8:30 AM. Queuing for badge pick up is located outside of Building C, Level 1.

For those who want first access to the Official Show Store: 

Please go directly to the queue in Building B International Lobby on Level 4. At 10:00 AM, the queue will be led up by Staff to the Official Show Store in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom. Once the morning queue is cleared, all fans will be able to go directly up to the Thomas Murphy Ballroom.  

For those who want first access to the show floor, which includes Magic Marketplace , Meet & Greet wristband distribution*, the Art of Magic, and more: 

Please head to the main entry on Level 1 in Hall C1. You will be able to wait in the morning queue until the show opens at 10:00 AM.   

*Meet & Greet wristband distribution will open at 8:30 AM. There is a limited quantity of wristbands available. Please check our website for details.  

Badge Pick-Up

A physical MagicCon badge is required for entry to all events and locations at MagicCon. If you are an international attendee or purchased a badge after August 6, your badge will be available for pick up onsite at Registration/Will Call as soon as you enter the show. You will need your QR code confirmation email and a photo ID to receive your badge. Please search for ‘MagicCon: Atlanta 2025 Order Confirmation’ to find your QR code.

  • Thursday, September 25:  12:00 – 6:00 PM
  • Friday, September 26:  8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, September 27:  8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday, September 28:  8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

The official MagicCon mobile app is your one stop shop for navigating the show floor, personalizing your weekend schedule, and scrolling through all that MagicCon: Atlanta has to offer!

Driving, Parking, and Public Transport

The Georgia World Congress Center is located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30313. MagicCon: Atlanta will be held in Building C.

Georgia World Congress Center offers convenient on-campus parking for visitors, attendees and staff of onsite events. For location and directions, click here.

IMPORTANT: There will be a football game happening Sunday right near MagicCon: Atlanta, so please plan your parking accordingly! Pre-purchase parking early and be ready for potential delays if using ridesharing apps. 

Parking can be pre-purchased directly from the Convention Center. 

Badge Activation

Badge Activation connects your details to your unique badge number and is an important part of enhancing your overall MagicCon experience. Please make sure your badge is activated prior to picking up your ticketed merch as your badge will be scanned to find your order onsite.

How to activate your badge:

  • You must have your physical badge to complete badge activation. Once you receive your badge in the mail or pick up your badge from Registration/Will Call, you may begin the activation process.
  • Download the MagicCon: Atlanta Mobile App
  • Follow the on-screen prompts and guides
  • Use the 10-digit code (under the QR Code) on the back of your badge for the activation code.
  • Badge Activation is all set!

Please note, only one badge can be activated per mobile device.

Ticketed Merchandise Pick-Up

All merchandise included in your badge package may be picked up at Ticketed Merch Pick Up in the Hall C lobby, Level 1 from. Friday through Sunday from 8:30 AM untill show close.

Please make sure to pick up your items before you leave MagicCon, we are unable to ship unredeemed items after the event.

All additional merchandise purchased on our website (after August 6) must be picked up at the Official Show Store in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom, Level 5 of Building B. Please look for the designated “Pre-Order Merchandise” queue. The Show Store opens daily at 10:00 AM and closes at 7:00 PM Friday and Saturday, and 6:00 PM Sunday.

Important Locations

The Georgia World Congress Center is sprawling, and we’ve really made sure to utilize the space. We recommend you thoroughly check out our maps to make sure you know where all the key locations are, including:

  • Security/Lost and Found – Room C302 on Level 3. Lost and Found is available during show hours only.
  • Quiet Room – Room C301 on Level 3.
  • Meet & Greet Wristband Distribution – Hall C1, Level 1
  • Info Booth – Level 1 in the Hall C lobby
  • The Lost Tavern – Building B, Level 4, Hall A/B

Accessibility

At MagicCon, we take accessibility seriously and strive to create an environment where all are welcome. ADA stickers will be available upon request at registration, and ADA seating and queues will be utilized throughout the show. Read through our full ADA Accessibility Services page for more information, including details on wheelchair rental, service animal policies, and more. 

Official Show Store 

The  MagicCon: Atlanta Official Show Store is bringing new shirts, hats, pins, and plenty more to grab commemorate your trip to MagicCon.

PLEASE NOTE: The Official Show Store is located in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom, Level 5 of Building B, away from the main show floor.

For every $150 you spend at the Official Show Store, you’ll also receive an additional promo mountain land card beautifully illustrated by John Avon. Please note that this offer is only available while supplies last and will only be available for in-person shoppers.

Join Us for Zendi-Karaoke! 

The fun doesn’t stop when the show floor closes! Join us at Zendi-Karaoke for an immersive Karaoke experience. Come resplendent in your favorite costume or cosplay representing your favorite factions, characters and creatures from Zendikar. Serenade the Eldrazi, document your adventure and discover what riches Zendikar has to offer!

Ticketed Play Events

The list of Ticketed Play Events at MagicCon: Atlanta is huge, with events of all kinds including drafts, modern, standard, and some that are just a bit too chaotic to nail down in a single word! Make sure to register as early as possible, as Ticketed Play Events can and will sell out. All event registration closes one hour prior to the start of the event.

On Demand Events

Ticketed Play HQ is on level 1 of the convention center. Head there for all Ticketed Play Events, as well as to get answers to any questions you might have and to sign up for On Demand events.

Mana Stage and Panel Room Content

There are so many panels at MagicCon: Atlanta  we’ve had to split them between three separate stages! The Spindown Panel Room and Showcase Panel Room will host fantastic content brought to you by creators and community members alike, while the Mana Stage brings back fan-favorite heavy hitters like Game Knights Live and The Preview Panel. See the full schedule of panels now to prep your weekend plans!

Creator Central Presented by Dragon Shield 

This interactive section of the show floor brings you face-to-face with your favorite MTG Content Creators. Witness a Spectacle Play event, meet and greet personalities you know and love at the Creator Play area, and watch live games from your favorite Magic stars in-person! 

Magic Meet & Greets

Some of the biggest names in Magic will be available to meet at MagicCon: Atlanta! Check out the Meet & Greet schedule for a full rundown of who’s who and where to find them.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to popularity, select Meet & Greets will require a wristband to participate. Meet & Greets requiring a wristband will be labeled with 'Wristband Required’ in their session title on the Meet & Greet Schedule page. These include the following guests:

  • Game Knights
  • Brian Kibler and Olivia Gobert-Hicks

Meet & Greet wristbands will be distributed the morning of the scheduled Meet & Greet on Level 1 in Hall C1.Distribution begins every day at 8:30 AM and is open until all wristbands have been distributed for the day. Learn more.

Family Magic

Get creative at MagicCon: Atlanta!  Whether you’re looking for a place to get some Magic play in, an activity for the whole family, or want to make friendship bracelets with other fans, Family Magic is the place for everyone!

The Gathering Grounds 

The Gathering Grounds is a dedicated space at MagicCon open to all attendees designed to celebrate everything that makes us different and lift up those from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups. This is a place to gather, play games, make new connections, promote organizations and more!

The Art of Magic

There’s no better way to experience the history of our favorite game than through The Art of Magic. You’ll be able to meet some of the talented artists who have created iconic card art during Magic’s lifespan, from the most recognizable staples to the most stunning alternate arts. See the artists who will be joining us at MagicCon: Atlanta.

Pin Trading Program

Bring the “Trading” back to your favorite trading card game with the Pin Trading Program! Collect all the exclusive MagicCon: Atlanta event pins by purchasing pins at the Official Show Store, visiting our official pin trading exhibitors, getting an exclusive at our Pin Trading Booth, and by trading with participating staff members and other MagicCon attendees! Can you collect them all?

The Magic Marketplace will be full of exhibitors bringing their products and expertise to the show floor. End Step

While most MagicCon features will close daily at 7:00 PM (6:00 PM Sunday), Ticketed Play will run until 11:59 PM on Friday and Saturday night, and 6:00 PM on Sunday. Additionally, certain late night exhibitors (marked on the Level 1 map) will remain open until this time as well. Please make sure to wrap up all of your purchases and play before we close daily.

On Demand Events are limited after 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday so secure your vouchers and register early by going to Ticketed Play HQ in Hall C3, Level 1.
