One. More. Week! Below you’ll find some important information and reminders to check out before finalizing your plans and making your way to the show site. If you or someone you know still needs a badge for MagicCon: Philadelphia, don’t worry - there are still limited badges available! Purchase a badge here and join us for our epic gathering.

TICKET & BADGE INFORMATION

If you received your badge in the mail, please make sure you activate your badge prior to coming to the event. It will save time and make getting into the convention center much easier.

For those who purchase a badge after the ticket mailing deadline, you can pick up your badge at Registration/Will Call, located in the Grand Hall on Level 2. Registration/Will Call is open:

  • Thursday, February 16   12:00 - 6:00 PM, 
  • Friday, February 17, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM,
  • Saturday, February 18, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 
  • Sunday, and February 19, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM.

Please remember to keep your badge safe and secure. Lost badges may be replaced for full retail value.  

COMMAND ZONE ACCESS

If you purchased a Command Zone daily or weekend add-on, you will need to pick up your access wristband when you arrive at the Convention center. Please visit Registration/Will Call at the hours listed above. You will need your purchase confirmation email and a photo ID.  

Command Zone add-on passes are sold out.

PARKING

Are you driving to MagicCon? While the Philadelphia Convention Center does not have any available parking, here is a list of nearby parking lots that fans should take full advantage of!

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES

If you require special assistance at this event, then head straight to the Accessibility Services Desk located in the Grand Hall next to Registration/Will Call. The Accessibility Services desk hours of operation are:

  • Thursday, February 16, 12:00 - 6:00 PM
  • Friday, February 17, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, February 18, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM 
  • Sunday, and February 19, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

CONCEPT TO COMPLEAT – A MAGIC ART SHOW  

Don’t forget: your MagicCon badge grants you access to Concept to Compleat - a Magic art show that is popping up at The Center for Architecture and Design in Philadelphia! The exhibit is free to enter from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Friday to Sunday.  

This three-day art show will feature different art daily from some of the talented artists who have contributed to Magic: The Gathering! On Friday there will be a variety of Phyrexian Concept artwork available for all to see, a selection of Secret Lair art available on Saturday and iconic original Phryexian artwork on Sunday. This will be a great exhibit for families, Magic fans, art aficionados and Praetors (if we do say so ourselves!).  

IMPORTANT REMINDER: TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION ONSITE

Have you registered for a scheduled tournament yet? If not, check out our incredible tournament schedule! You may register online for any scheduled event up to two hours prior to the start of the tournament.

  • Registration for all tournaments will close exactly two hours prior to the scheduled start time or when capacity is reached. 
  • Registration for scheduled events must be done online.
  • Onsite registration is only available for on-demand events.

Each tournament has a capacity limit, and once it’s full there will no longer be an opportunity to register and participate. We strongly recommend you register for tournaments as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Once a Scheduled Tournament entry is purchased, you will receive a Companion app code in your confirmation email. Please enter this code the day of and at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your tournament.  

You do not need to come up to Tournament Headquarters once you have put in your Companion app code, there is no action required even if your app says so.

There is a LOT going on at MagicCon: Philadelphia, from play to panels, exhibitors, artists, cosplay and more - and we don’t expect you to remember it all!

The MagicCon: Philadelphia mobile app will be your guide for the entire weekend. Mark your favorite panels, view all exhibitors, explore the show maps to discover important event locations, register for tournaments and more! The Mobile App is also the number one destination for show updates and important notifications for a great show experience.

The app will be available to download on iOS and Android, TODAY! Keep your eyes on our social channels for updates!
