Magic on the Mana Stage!

MagicCon: Amsterdam is on the horizon, and with it comes some of the best panels yet on our Mana Stage! We have amazing content planned throughout the whole weekend, from exciting previews of upcoming cards from Bloomburrow and Duskmourn: House of Horror, to fantastic displays and guest events like the fan-favorite cosplay contest and the explosive spectacle that is Game Knights Live!

The Preview Panel

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Join us for the Preview Panel at MagicCon: Amsterdam and see what Magic has in store for the future. It's time for exclusive reveals on upcoming sets, featuring Bloomburrow, Duskmourn: House of Horror, and maybe more! Panelists include Gavin Verhey, Ovidio Cartagena, Jadine Klomparens, and Annie Sardelis.

Assassin's Creed: A Rooftop-Down Exploration

2:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Magic: The Gathering’s journey into Universes Beyond continues with Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft’s historical video game franchise. Find out how iconic elements of the stealth action-adventure games were expressed through the gameplay of Magic: The Gathering. Panelists include Lauren Bond, Corey Bowen, and Stephanie Cheung, and will be hosted by Sam from Rhystic Studies.

Game Knights Live

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Game Knights Live is coming to MagicCon: Amsterdam and this time they're going BIG! Come see our contenders go to combat with some truly colossal creatures in this literal clash of the titans, featuring Jimmy Wong, Josh Lee Kwai, Rachel Weeks, Gavin Verhey, and more exciting guests alongside a roaring crowd! Make sure to get there early; seats fill up fast! 

Celebrity Creator Chaos Draft

12:00 PM– 1:00 PM

Noted Chaos Draft aficionado Ben Bateman brings some of his favorite creator friends to the Mana Stage for a Chaos Draft you won’t want to miss. After seeing all the picks at the Mana Stage, head over to Creator Central to watch the matches.

By Design: Modern Horizons 3

1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Four months of vision design, nine months piecing together the card file, and a six-week final playtest assault. Join us as we explore the marathon AND the sprint that gets a major set release into your hands, in the company of some of the designers who made it happen. Panelists include Michael Majors, Carmen Klomparens, Megan Smith, and Brad Nelson, and will be hosted by Filipa Carola.

Planeswalker Tales

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Go behind the scenes with members of Studio X as they bring a new wave of Planeswalker origins to life in Modern Horizons 3. Panelists include Carmen Klomparens and Lauren Bond, and will be hosted by Sam from Rhystic Studies.

Cosplay Contest

4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

We put the creative spotlight on the fans as they show off their amazing creations! Come see your favorite Magic characters come to life before your very eyes on the Mana Stage!

Clash of the Creators

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

The breakout hit from MagicCon: Chicago comes across the ocean to pit a new group of creators against each other – and an end-boss team of Wizards of the Coast’s most fearsome minds – in a contest that will test their Magic knowledge in ways they’d never thought possible.

The Eldrazi Power Hour

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Emrakul, Ulamog, and Kozilek - everyone’s favorite inscrutable monstrosities from the Blind Eternities -- are back in Modern Horizons 3. Learn about their place in Magic lore, how their cards (and other assorted Eldrazi supporting cast) are designed, and much more. Panelists include Ovidio Cartagena and Elizabeth Rice, and will be hosted by Matt Danner.

Pro Tour Sunday Watch Party presented by Ultimate Guard

1:30 PM – 5:00 PM

The weekend wraps up with the conclusion of Pro Tour Modern Horizons 3. Join Filipa Carola and Mythic Championship winner Thoralf Severin as they bring their unique perspectives to the final Pro Tour of the season.

In addition to all the special guests you’ll see on the Mana Stage, the list of artists, cosplayers, and more who will be on the floor at MagicCon: Amsterdam is fit to burst with some of the biggest names in the Magic community.
